Cast Polyurethane Board Details
Polyurethane board is thick, flat PU stock, up to 100 mm, that you machine into parts. Pepson supplies board in standard sizes from 300 × 300 mm up to 1300 × 2600 mm, in cast polyurethane. Pick a thickness, hardness, and color, or ask for another size.
Polyurethane board stays elastic and still resists wear. Hardness runs from Shore 25A, soft and rubbery, to 98A, close to rigid plastic. Natural-color board is typically 80A to 85A. The material resists tearing, oil, grease, and solvents, and it absorbs shock.
Polyurethane board goes into parts that cushion, compress, or carry a load. It is machined into seals and buffer components, and it serves in molding equipment, sandblasting rooms, and steel and ceramics plants.
