Achieving Breakthroughs in Dispensing Machine Wheel Accessories
Client introduction
For this project, we collaborated with a well-known company from Russia, which has a wide market influence in the field of industrial equipment manufacturing. The company has been committed to the research and development and production of high-quality dispensing machine equipment, and its products are sold in many countries and regions around the world.
The challenge
Our client faced three challenges:
- Complex Product Structure: The design of the dispensing machine wheel accessories requested by the client was notably intricate, comprising three components: stainless steel parts, plastic parts, and PU. This multi-material combination imposes exceptionally high demands on processing technology and precision.
- Stringent Precision Requirements: The client explicitly stipulated that the tolerance of the overall product must be maintained within ±0.06MM. This precision standard exceeded the conventional industry level, presenting substantial challenges to our processing procedures and underscoring the technical complexity of this project.
- Assembly Precision Challenges: Another difficulty was maintaining precision during the assembly of the three components. Given the varying stiffness of stainless steel, plastic, and PU parts, it was challenging to ensure that the overall tolerance remained within ±0.06MM throughout production and assembly. Any minor deviation in any phase may have resulted in the final product failing to meet the client’s stringent requirements.
Our solution
First, we focused on making the stainless steel shafts very precise because they are crucial to the product. We used advanced machines and tools to make sure the steel parts were almost perfect. Each shaft was tested many times to ensure it was accurate.
For the plastic parts, we used a two-step method. First, we made sure the plastic parts lined up well with the steel shafts. This was important for the rest of the assembly to be accurate. Then, we carefully checked and adjusted the plastic parts to fit perfectly with the steel. We also added PU parts to improve the overall accuracy, keeping everything within the strict limits set by the client.
In the final processing stage, we paid close attention to how the plastic and PU materials behaved. We used special techniques to reduce errors caused by things like material bending or changing shape.
Results
The dispensing machine wheel accessories, meticulously processed and rigorously tested by our team, demonstrated exceptional performance in practical customer applications. The product’s high precision ensured the stability and accuracy of the dispensing machine during operation, significantly enhancing the quality and efficiency of the dispensing process. Customer feedback indicated that the use of our processed accessories notably decreased the failure rate of the dispensing machine and increased production efficiency by over 30%.
